18 years ago today, Nelson Mandela was elected the first black president of South Africa. I have learned so much about South Africa this week, and believe this country is a special one. Here is hoping for a bright future.

Andre 3000 to Play Jimi Hendrix in Biopic
The eccentric Andre 3000 appears to be playing the legendary Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic on the musician. The movie, All Is By My Side, will begin filming in the very near future in Ireland.
